Dorothy Hurdle
Chief Executive Officer
In 2025, after working in real estate for four years, I decided to start my own brokerage firm. As the Owner and Broker-in-Charge of T.R.EA.S. Realty, I help residential and investor clients find properties to fit their real estate needs. Although my focus is the Piedmont-Triad areas of North Carlina, depending on the location, I do provide service to other areas.
Previously, I worked for over eight years as a state regulator for the Iowa Insurance Division. I managed the receipting, reconciling, and reporting of surplus lines premium taxes submitted to the state. I also handled individual and business licensing. Prior to that, I worked for the Iowa Department of Transportation and the Iowa Department of Human Services. I have also worked for KPMG, City of Richmond, and Virginia Federal Savings & Loan. I have experience in banking, state government, accounting, and sales.
In 2019, after living in Iowa for more than 20 years, I decided to leave the cold, harsh winters to return home to a warmer climate to be near my family and friends. Although I was born and raised in Virginia, I decided to make North Carolina my home. After moving to North Carolina, I went on to obtain my insurance license and began selling Term Life, Whole Life, and Final Expense policies. In 2022, I obtained my real estate license.
Since becoming licensed in real estate, nothing has been more gratifying than when a client receives the keys to their new home or investment property. Seeing the smiles on their faces and looks of satisfaction in their eyes on closing day, makes the long hours, back and forth negotiations, numerous phone calls, and various real estate forms worth all the time and effort. It does not take a special person to open the door to show a property; however, it does take someone with patience and determination to help you find exactly what you are searching for. Buying and selling a house is not always a quick process. Finding the right place takes time.

Cyrus Hurdle
Chief Information Officer
With over 20 years’ experience in the Information Technology field, Cyrus oversees T.R.E.A.S. Realty’s technological requirements. He is an integral part of the company’s operations.
Cyrus has worked in state government and the private sector. In his current position as IT Workplace Specialist at Assa Abloy, a global company that is an innovator in door security, entrance automation and digital access, he oversees day-to-day technological operations to help keep the company running smoothly. The scope of his work includes, but is not limited to, computer repair, upgrades, software and hardware replacement and installation, network setup, company travel to assist with setting up new acquisitions acquired in company expansions bringing partners into the Assa Abloy corporation. Additionally, he supports the ERP systems to ensure all servers run smoothly, efficiently and operate properly during the week.
Cyrus brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to TREAS Realty. As the Chief Information Officer, he assesses all the company’s computer needs to make sure our technology is current and up to date. Cyrus is a key part of keeping the company running smoothly. Technology is the driving force in our world today.
Cherubim Hurdle
Chief Financial Officer
As our Chief Financial Officer, Ms. Hurdle, overseas the financial aspects of the company. She manages all bookkeeping and recordkeeping. She ensures that the company’s finances are in order and that all paperwork is organized, properly filed and recorded.
Ms. Hurdle has over 40 years’ experience in finance, tax preparation, and administration. She has prepared our family taxes for over 30 years. She has previously worked for the State of Virginia Fuels Tax Licensing and Motor Vehicle Dealer Licensing/Consumer Complaints Section, City of Houston Planning and Development, Excel Telecommunications Inc., Iowa Department of Revenue, and Walmart Inc., Optical and Pharmaceutical Customer Care.
Ms. Hurdle brings her years of experience in business administration to TREAS Realty. We are glad to have her as a part of our executive team. Her invaluable knowledge will ensure that the company’s finances and reporting are always up to date.
